(no subject)

We got snow at the one point in the week where snow was not forecast. Now we may or may not get a major storm on Friday. In any case I am stocking up on foods.

I broke into some of my back up supplies last night because my area was a sheet of ice. I had other food, but nothing that went together. I had like olives, chicken, chocolate, etc. So I broke out the baked beans I keep at the back of the cupboard as emergency food to eat with the chicken. It's good to rotate that stuff anyway.

This appears to be a real thing

You know those weird Facebook ads that try to sell you T shirts that are overly weirdly specific to your interests? This looks like one of those computer generated items made for me. But, apparently it's real because I just bought it off of Audible.

Hopefully, the stories and plots are actually good. I've been on an Agatha Christie kick recently and she can be hit or miss. She wrote a lot of stuff and some of it is amazing. Some of it I'd consider some of the most important literature of last century. Some of it is just a mess. I should try to find a list of what to read and what to skip, though obviously that would be controversial. I just finished The Sittaford Mystery and that seems to be one of her well liked ones, but I wasn't into it.
