I managed to bus out to Neskowin. The beach had more people on it during the 7 AM low tide than at any other point. It’s supposed to rain during tomorrow’s low tide so we’ll see how that goes. Could be cool. The ghost forest is the remains of a forest from before the last cascade subduction earthquake two thousand years ago.
I was going to try to hike Hart’s Cove tomorrow but I have to walk over coarse sand and through three rivers to get to the ghost forest and it’s wearing me out. Especially if I shoot in the rain tomorrow I might just stay near my abnb. It’s a tiny studio with a murphy bed.
More when I am back. I am typing on my phone. I hope some of the shots turned out good. I used a manual focus lens for some.
