Lorraine Rita Warren is the paranormal investigator whose cases are the basis for 17 horror films including Amityville and The Conjuring. Some other horror films are loosely based on her. She died on 4/18/2019.
She resolved a lot of hauntings by removing cursed objects and taking them to her own home where they were inert under her influence. I don't talk much about the original paranormal series I am working on, especially since I have other projects to finish before I dive back in, but my OC stuff I've been working on uses 'what happens when someone like that dies, someone who has been collecting the most evil objects known to humanity?' as a starting point. The 'what if' my series uses as a starting point just actually happened.
I will take this as a sign that I need to get some writing done this weekend.
