Only walked about 6.5 miles today, but I am beat. I think I did a lot of elevation change, which is part of it.
There was a random guy on my local subreddit who just got into photography and wanted to meet up and take pictures with other photographers. So I responded. I knew nothing about him. He turned out to be about 10 years younger than me. We chatted and walked around St. Johns for about an hour before he wanted to head off for food. I enjoyed talking to him. Whether he felt the same I don't know. Hopefully, we will meet up again but if not, oh well. He was nice and we had a chill time.
After he left I started walking towards home and did some shooting along the way. Got some good shots and at least one worthy of my website galleries. I found a dock on the Willamette where some folks where fishing under a giant sign that said 'no fishing off the dock'. We had a nice chat while I took some pictures.
Then I kept walking as the sun was going down and there were more and more homeless camps. So, I called a Lyft to fast travel out of the area. I was about 2 blocks from things being less dangerous and also shots I would have liked, but I didn't know that until I was speeding away.
I'll sort my pictures later, but for now this was a cell phone grab:

Lots of locks means it's extra secure, right? Maybe the fact that I find this hilarious means I've been watching too many pen testing videos?
