A few keys have stopped working on my keyboard so I have to copy-paste the letters from elsewhere on the page. The good news is that a lot of my mis-spellings for a while have been do the keyboard. There is also a general input problem where keys are not always going through in the order I am typing them. I thought it was me! It's not. phew.
I have an external keyboard on order. I've been meaning to get one anyway so I can type without my giant laptop in my lap. It'll also be nice to not have a touchpad below my space bar. Windows got rid of the option to disable it. If my hand touches it just right it selects-all and then deletes-all while I am typing.
I still need to replace this laptop at a point, but for now it will continue to limp along, and I've been in need of a separate keyboard anyway.
Having to type like this is making my writing very stiff and stilted.
