That is true, fandom isn't exactly "bummer, I can't watch the thing on a mainstream service."
I guess I'm thinking more in terms of the sorts of show announcements in mainstream outlets that would even let fandom *know* that the show is happening; if it was a mainstream US streaming show, maybe there'd be announcements that more people would see. I feel like there are people who would be excited if they knew about it, which makes me think that they just aren't aware.
