I do really hope that a trailer might ignite some more enthusiasm! And more promotion in general.

I guess I'm a bit out of touch with a lot of fandoms, at least in terms of how and when the hype strikes. I feel like there usually is more buzz when the announcement happens, when people get information about who was involved, who was cast, etc. But having some visual stuff, like a trailer, definitely tends to help!

(I'm trying to think to like... Murderbot, as a recent TV adaptation of a well-liked book series, though obviously wildly different genre. But most of what I saw for it was ANTI-hype, with people being mad about a show being made at all, then being excited about some fancast ideas, then angry about the actual casting, etc. Then a lot more positive hype after the trailer, but the trailer seemed to come out really late, to me.)
