Manon Rhéaume has been named as the Detroit PWHL General Manager. This is a big deal because she used to be signed to the Tampa Bay Lighting. She only played on NHL ice in pre-season games, never got a regulation start, but she was on various ECHL teams and was signed to an NHL franchise. She was so good she played on men's pro teams. Now, she's going to run PWHL in Motor City.
That's an amazing get, both in terms of talent but also vibes.
