I made some things, am working on other things. Oh, and I made Discord emoji!
I colored a Jeeves and Wooster sketch I did. I am caught between 'if someone else did this I'd love it' and not being happy with aspects. I am likely going to try re-inking it a few times and also recoloring it. trad and digital. The basic sketch I super like.

I am working on finishing my drawing of Cinder. She's a Tiefling NPC who is my character's bff. Again, sketches good but the inking looses a lot:

Hopefully I can fix the expression and other things while coloring. The drawing is called "I brought lunch"
Oh, and I made Discord emoji for the Jeeves and Wooster discord. This is the first one:

It's an alpine hat with a pink feather as described in one of the books.
I also made a white mess jacket:

Again, this makes sense if you are familiar with J&W.
I pulled the line art for the emoji from a project that's been driving me nuts. I've been trying to make seamless tiling patterns and the tutorials are just not working out. I am going to keep at it, though.
This:

Was my initial drawing. I will figure out tiling patterns and make a digital version of that and also a few others I am working on. So far, I've wasted a lot of time trying to sort out the whole 'seamless' part of it. When I have time, I need to restart again.

Also, that sketch is so so cute!
I hear you on the inking, I’ve been working with exactly this process and always despair a little when I erase my pencil marks because some basic shading gets lost. BUT! It is possible to regain that effect when you add colour (as you did with the sofa piece).
Good on you for doing so much art!

Date: 2019-03-01 09:03 am (UTC)From:A lot of people have interest in that pattern, but I have spent hours trying to get it to tile right. There is one program with a wraparound feature to fix the seaming, but it wants shell access on my computer to install. I am going to keep working at it and some other tiling patterns I want to do, but it's been A Thing.
Yeah, I can regain some when I color. Though I've been using a lightbox to preserve the sketch if I mess up. Well, you can likely tell from my sketch of Cinder being next to the line art :) I inked the Jeeves and Wooster piece a few times and hope to use it as coloring practice.

Date: 2019-03-03 10:50 am (UTC)From:I'd like to chat on the comm about tools we use and things. I am not nearly good enough to do a 'here is my process' thing, especially since I don't have a process yet. Every time I get a sketch I want to finish it's like 'yerg now what?'
