I have balance problems and yet I just replaced a fluorescent tube light in a spot where I couldn't place a step stool within 2 feet of the fixture. The old tubes were stuck in there, too. All the online troubleshooting for stuck tubes are just 'twist and pull harder it wont break ... unless it breaks.'
Also, there was a poorly controlled dog in the store where I brought the old tubes for recycling and bought new tubes. It's like lady I am holding 4 glass tubes, keep the yappy thing away from me. For some reason, the new ones were sold loose. No box, just a tube with a price sticker. So, I was just literally hold bare tubes.
That sucked, but it's over and done.
