I drew an isometric room!

I messed some some of the lines, but hopefully when I color it in it'll hide the problems. Also, the throw over the bed will have a design.

This is my first stab at doing one of these. I think it's cute, but also I know what all the items in the room are. I am not sure how it'll read to someone else.

I am into an old canon that has a team that lives together, so I've been designing their rooms. This is Rawhide's. His is simple. He canonically has few belongings, but I still wanted to room to be cozy instead of spartan. Some of the other character's rooms are .. complicated. Anyway, I am going to try to draw a room for each of the Hong Kong Cavaliers from The Adventures of Buckaroo Banzai Across the 8th dimension. I started with a floorplan for the basic room, but certain characters would change stuff a lot.

The basic room is 20 feet by 15 feet with a full bath. Doors, walls, and some of the plumbing can be moved. However, toilets cannot be. Moving a toilet is a big deal, plumbing wise, and can effect drainage for the building. Putting those un-moveable toilets in the far corner means I never need to draw them. The bathtub is behind the wall Rawhide hung his hat on and the over-sink mirror is partially visible.

I've got floor plans to make into these 3-d drawings for Perfect Tommy, Buckaroo, Pinky Carruthers, Mrs. Johnson (part of Flyboy's room next to hers will be visible), Reno and Pecos' combined room (they knocked down a wall), Big Norse and Professor Hikita. I need to work on Billy Travers. I do not know what to do for New Jersey, Penny Priddy or Peggy Priddy.

I've got part of the sketch done for Tommy's room but it's way more complicated to draw.

So, that is more detail than anyone needs on my current project. I put a lot of though into size, door placement, what we know about various Cavaliers, etc.
