I am going to write about my plan for the next year. These aren't resolutions. I don't really like the whole 'resolution' thing.
* Become a regular with that one walking group. I've found a group that does after work urban hiking with a goal of getting in or staying in shape for nature hiking. That is exactly what I need. I haven't been able to join yet because the weather keeps being a thing. Holidays are weird anyway, so I will start in the new year.
Update - This is already a bust.
* Commit to an Instagram schedule. Again, holidays are weird so starting that in January would be best.
Update - Am rolling on this.
* Make some video content. I've been messing about with it. I've got good camera gear and it can do video. So far it does it terrible because I have no idea what I am doing. Also, every video editing software I'd tries makes me want to scream. It's going to be a process.
Update - have made vague gestures in this direction
* Make 6 new galleries on my website. At least 10 pictures per. The galleries should showcase the right level of variety and everything else that goes into making a gallery good.
Update - Am rolling on this
* Significantly improve existing galleries. I know which ones are weak, fix them.
Update - I can't update my existing galleries due to bugs in Wordpress that Wordpress 'has no timeline' on fixing.
* Do at least one photo project that really means going the extra mile, or several extra miles. Research, logistics, skills, etc. At least one project that is a massive undertaking.
Update - Haven't even thought about this.
* Finish my Oregon Guides for my website.
Update - Stalled pending Wordpress stuff
* Finish certain fics and put out at least 50k of words on Ao3.
Update good progress already
* Plan for Alaska. Packing for Alaska is going to be a thing.
Update - Haven't worked on this, but I don't need to yet
And, that is all I got right now. I've been using this type of journal platform for a long time and making posts like this tends to help me actually do the thing. Mostly because the info is organized and in a place.
