I'm trying to reduce my overall volume while increasing my density. A reduction in mass would be welcome, but it's really the volume-density that I'm after. Losing six pounds of fat and gaining five pounds of muscle is a one-pound change on the scale and a much bigger shift in my body.
I need my volume down, but I can't actively diet due to possible migraine triggers. So, I need to slim down very carefully. It's been working, my mass has dropped. But, now that I am monitoring it I am overthinking things.
Right after I got my scale a bunch of very stressful things happened, so the timing was terrible.
I feel you. After work today, I hit the local fast food shop and picked up dinner because I just couldn't deal.
I swear I could eat healthy if someone else were actually making the food. I like healthy food just fine. I'm just too tired to plan the food prep and deal with the clean-up. (Sometimes just the thought that if I cook that means I'll have to do dishes is enough to make me grab fast food instead.)
It would also be easier to eat healthy if I was cooking for two. That would make the cooking feel more rewarding and also I could use up vegetables and bread before they go off.
I have a lot of allergies and need to cook a lot from scratch. I've gotten a bit lazy about it as that's a lot of dishes to clean. I don't really mind the cooking, but the clean up is a pain.
Ugh, I hate having to throw away food that has spoiled before I could eat it. I know I should eat more fresh fruit and vegetables, but I'm always hesitant to buy them for that exact reason.
