Oh... that's why

Guess who has the flu? Guess who didn't realize for days? I had the chills, aches and fatigue. I had a bit of a cough but no congestion. I was running a fever but didn't realize until I took tylenol and felt a lot better because the fever came down.

I thought this was just the sheer stress of my life hitting me or other scary things. It sucks because I am allergic to most cold and flu meds. Also, I am super behinde and getting behinder. But at least I know what is causing this sheer inability to get stuff done, brain fog and extended naps. I have something of a hyper immune system that can make me feel drained even when not that sick. I have to schedule flu shots carefully because my body overreacts and I get flu-like symptoms intensely for 24 hours.

This sucks, but at least I know what's going on. Hopefully today is the worst of it.

I'm so sorry that you're dealing with the flu. It's a miserable, miserable ailment. And to have to deal with being allergic to meds ... man, you have my sympathy!
