Look! A daylight shot! Rumors that I am a vampire were greatly exaggerated!
I went out one night in the rain, and the rain was keeping all the kitties on porches:

Cozy porch with XMas decor still up:

Seriously, people just leave that up all year here.
Another Little Free Library with reading bench:

Yard full of lettuces and kale gone somewhat feral:

Kitty sitting above all the mixed greens on ... some sort of structure?

This wasn't as interesting as I'd hoped, but I've spent a year mostly shooting other people's art. I am trying to do some other types of shots. Also, sucking at something and keeping with it is the first step towards getting good:

I've been pre-planning my routes to not re-do the same areas and start to fill in blocks. One of the 'roads' I was on, was this:

Let me stress here, this is a road with houses fronting on it. Some houses whose property line touches this 'road' and no other road. Coming from the other side you can drive on it for a bit, but then it becomes this path. I mean, at least Portland's infrastructure problems are cute and aesthetic. I'd actually love to have grown up on a road like that. Just dip into some trees to go home.

Fun variety of pictures. The road at the end makes me think a fantasy voyage is about to unfold :)
Love the kitties doing their own thing and projecting an aura of fluff, curiosity and mystery.
