It's great! It's easily better than 99.9% of show revivals. Having most of the cast and crew back, having the same producers, Dean owning the IP outright and this not being made by Netflix or the new J J Abrahams really just makes this an entirely different situation for 99.9% of all revivals.
Some of the episodes, the first few, are absolutely perfect. Ridiculously perfect. On point in every way.
Some of the mid season eps are a bit weak. But they still feel like weak Leverage episodes and not episodes of another show.
It's too bad that JR could be more involved because he was on the Kingkiller project, where his team fully wrote scripts for a whole season and now the whole project's been shelved. Tons of work, just in limbo. I do not like Patrick Rothfuss, so I am not sad about losing the show on that front. But JR is one of my favorite writers and I really enjoy his touch on shows ... so having about 2 years of his work flushed down the toilet sucks.
Also, having heard so many people worried about CK not being able to do solid fight scenes or that Noah can't act and Harry will feel like Flynn ... I was not worried about those things, so I was laughing at points because yeah, obviously they can do their jobs!
So, in short: Amazing. Knocked it out of the park. But still had some weak spots.
