We are having life-endangering heat again this week. The forecast is not as bad as the heat dome event, just 110 instead of 116-120. So, I didn't run away. Still, it's making me a bit anxious in my top floor walk up. I am very prone to heat stroke, always have been. Things should be manageable even if I lose power and the current forecast is a few degrees lower from where we thought it would be. Still, it's causing me to be stunningly unproductive. I didn't even set up my planner for the week until today.
Crucially, we are now expecting night-time cool offs and initially we were expecting to not have a night time temp drop. Also, there is a good chance we'll only get to 105. So this really, really shouldn't be as bad.
