I often use my own photography to do these challenges. I think last year I resolved to using new pictures only to avoid repeating myself. I may keep to that, or maybe put a limit on pictures over a year old. I've spent a lot of time in organizing pictures, so maybe using some old ones would keep content fresh.

I tend to worry about repeating myself more than I really should. The photo post of mine that got the most comments was a post of old work that I'd meant to backdate, but wound up in people's feeds anyway. For some reason I cannot ever get posts to backdate correctly on DW. Anyway, yeah, maybe I just shouldn't worry about it?

I wouldn't worry about it too much, unless you feel super strongly about wanting a challenge for it. I never mind seeing older pictures, personally. Maybe a mix?

Yeah, a mix is likely good. I get overly careful with stuff like that sometimes.

I see the value in both - old favorites are favorites for a reason, but giving some love and attention to new images is nice, too.

If you don’t want the backdated post to appear on feed, you have to check the option box under the changed date.

And I don’t mind older photos!

I haven't tried it in a while, but the last few times I swear I followed the FAQ or something.
