So, when I did my shopping trip to cover not going out for a few days due to holiday closures and stores often being a wreck the day or two after Xmas... I should have actually shopped for a week. We may or may not get a very big storm clobbering us.

I am not usually caught off guard because I follow the weather service on twitter and also the local subreddit panics when there is a possible weather event. Kale memes abound. But, I site blocked reddit for a while after that whole pointing out that they were being scammed thing and I maybe missed it on twitter? (Note: several people besides me also spoke up about the scam, but also got shouted down)

Anyway, oops? I thought the ransacked shelves and them being out of most of what I went there for was just due to it being almost XMas. I should be fine. It's more of an annoyance, me feeling dumb and realizing how much I do rely on my local reddit for certain types of heads up.

I am trying to go hard on finishing this one story before the year ends, but so far I just keep editing the first section rather than adding words. But, having that solid and deciding if I want to make changes will determine things about later parts so that is not terrible.

Going to watch a few YT videos and then get back to it.

Hope the storm isn’t too bad! Good luck with finishing the story 😀

I hope you don't get clobbered by a weather event too badly!

And I also hope the writing went/continues well!
