Escapade is planning to happen this year, both online and off.

I want to go, but am undecided. The idea of going is so strange. The last in-person Escapade was the weekend covid started to hit the states. Contact tracing from my train ride home meant I went into quarantine before the first lockdown hit. Fortunately, I already had food and TP laid in for a pandemic so I was able to do my part. God, that era feels like another reality.

I'll have to see how they are planning the online stuff. I don't want to be in panel discussions that are being live-streamed to others. If the way they are doing both seems reasonable, I will plan on going. Honestly, I have no idea how to make concrete plans for the end of April. But, if I like how are are doing a hybrid con I will book tickets, pretend that Escapade is going to bookend the pandemic for me and see if reality complies.

That would be a fitting bookend event... fingers crossed that it just might work out that way!
