I finally edited the images from my last few photowalks. It's really not up to my usual post quality, but oh well. I must walk more!
My planned Sunday... wait, today is Sunday again. My planned walk for last Sunday got derailed due to is being way colder than forecast with freezing fog, but also I was having to navigate around homeless camps just taking over sections of the area in a way I haven't seen since Early Pandemic. This past week I didn't due much because I've felt run down since the miserable dentist thing. I did drag myself out for a short, local four mile walk last night to get the blood moving a bit.
And tonight I am staying in with a beer.

The Memento Mori woodburning is back! I was sad that it got stolen before I could get a good picture of it. I love it. But the artist posted again on another corner!
A few things about that last image:
Is it a good photo? IDK, but it's very East Portland. It's like East Portland distillate. Nicely decorated sidewalks... where there are sidewalks.
Also, see the stop sign and the wall behind it, and the bush? That was the nook I was in trying to get a good angle on taking pictures of the sidewalk when I got harassed by the guy. So, extra irony. These intersections being painted is part of neighborhood togetherness thing and, yeah.

That is some irony about the "inclusive! togetherness! community!" space being the area in which you were harassed. :/

Yeah, that was an added layer to the whole thing. The rainbows are cool, but it's very hard to photograph it well.
