I feel stuck in an endless cycle of 'well after this the heat will be broken and we'll be done with mid nineties weather for the season, just look at the 10 day weather report!' .... only for it to update a few days later and add more mid 90s.

That was how this whole summer has been here, too! "This week is supposed to be in the mid-80s!" only to maybe have a day or two before it was back in the 90s.
