* Heartbroken for Maine and those dealing with lockdowns for the manhunt right now. Also, fuck, current state of social media is so bad for staying on top of shit.
* Tomorrow is the one year anniversary of Musk's takeover of twitter. How TF has it been a year?? Especially these past few weeks people are lamenting how it's completely useless as a new source these days. I've read a few articles that say that the number of users hasn't dropped much, but the amount of time each user is on the site and the amount they post has dropped like a rock, as has ad revenue. Actually, it's possible that losing twitter as a major place to put ads is why so many other companies are pushing ads / ad-supported tiers. Netflix, Youtube, Amazon Prime Streaming, etc. With twitter's fall agencies lost a major source of good places to buy ad space. Between that and cord cutting ad space is more of a seller's market than it's been in a while. It was a while ago so I doubt I could find the reference at this point, but I read a few places that part of why Netflix is getting an ad tier is that companies frustrated that it had become very hard to reach certain demographics were pushing to use Netflix as an outlet.
* I posted over on TV_Talk about the latest Quantum Leap episode and plot speculation here if anyone wants to join. Would be fun to get a weekly post going.
* The next season of Victoriocity is (finally) coming soon and they've also announced an upcoming book
* I really need to sit down at a point and make lists of my favorite media, just for my own mental reference.
