* This video experiment is going... interestingly. On iPhones, which market themselves as a content creation tool, you can't rename video files directly. They took away file renaming and you need to do a work around.

Since I am gone for part of October I need to pre-film my dice advent openings, but I cannot just put files named Dice 05, Dice 06, Dice 07 into a folder. It's a hot mess. <- learning about stuff like this is why I am doing the experiment.

* I am so unprepared for it to be October! I also still haven't done my test packing or made a consolidated itinerary! I had a mini-panic when I looked at my plane ticket the other day because I forgot time zones exist. The first leg of my flight isn't forever, I am just headed east.

* I need to make a list of what spooky content I want to consume in October, especially since I will be away. Though, a chunk of it will be the Paranormal Detour Road Trip

You can't *rename files*?? WTF.

I am also wildly unprepared for it to be October. Not due to big plans, just... time.

I thought iphones were supposed to make that sort of thing easy! It's certainly *portrayed* as The Thing to make creative things as seamless as possible. But I guess "easy" means "we don't let you control any of the bits" now. (Or at least it feels that way. "No messing with these settings! No naming these files!")

HOW is it October, DOUBLE HOW is it a third of the way through October?
