* A venture fund bought a bunch of stable Portland businesses during the height of the pandemic, hyper expanded them and is now going into liquidation. Local chains expected to be destroyed shortly by this include Rudy's, who are known for being particularly good at queer/trans friendly haircutting, and Sizzle Pie, my go-to for vegan pizza and the specific pizza that has been my comfort food for over a decade. 2 places I go regularly.

* I tried again to find an artist to do a logo for my photography stuff and oh god, the portfolios of the people who reached out.... so much porn. It was all furry and/or inflation porn.

* I can now access advanced features on youtube like picking my own thumbnails, which is great because when youtube autopicks thumbnails for me it's always exactly what I don't want the person to see before clicking. I have basically unlocked everything I can at this sub level. If I hit a hundred subs I can switch from Dorkvania-bunch-a-numbers to actually having the channel name Dorkvania. My latest short (a single like will 4x my reach)

I really need to get get a gimble if I am going to keep doing these videos.

Inflation porn is like... making things bigger as a fetish. Like, making boobs swell for an example. Magically or... otherwise?

I really don't like pics of excessively big boobs. Normal boobs look much better. XD

I don't like any of that when I am trying to hire someone to do actual work, however I've seen far worse trying to hire people.

Yeah, they are my go-to places. The liquidation wont even get the creditors anything but trademarks and logos. There is no real estate or patents or anything to sell like in a typical buyout/selloff. It's just going to end a bunch of popular, allergy friendly, trans-inclusive stable regional chains.

That's really shitty about the businesses now being liquidated. :/ I'm sorry.
