Hockey again, but I will put most of it under a cut. Photo is some of the rookies in their Pride Night fits from last night





Getting annoyed at hockey podcasts is pointless, but some were complaining recently that the Kraken are boring, have no team identity, big personalities, etc. Like, y'all, are you here for hockey or for drama? Because right now other teams have drama. I am *very* happy for my team to be boring.

But also, we are on an 11 game point streak. The hobbies of one of our goalies include volunteering at a horse rescue and wearing traditional German clothing:




And then there's one of our forwards who shows up for games looking like a vampire cowboy:



They are not as wacky or extroverted as players on some other teams. Some of them are pretty private, and that's fine. They are here for hockey. If they want to also take their tarps off or make content, awesome, but they don't have to.

Anyone calling us boring is dumb, but for that to happen right before 3 franchises basically had meltdowns was like... yo, boring is good. I like that our coach knows where his goalies are during a game. I like not putting out capslock press releases.

No offense to Mr. Kraken Goalie, but as someone who lives in Germany and in Baden-Württemberg specifically, there's just something very funny to me about a man trying to pose all model-like in Lederhosen. Like, that's the uniform of drunk dipshits on the train to me LOL.

He's from Rosenheim, Germany. So, I assume he's being a bit silly and is fully aware. There is also video on him dancing in outfits like that, and he was probably drunk. He makes those outfits look good, though!
