* I got jumped by an off-leash dog, who knocked my headphones off and my phone got pulled from my pocket. My phone is alright, but my headphones are toast.

* The largest obstacle towards Jason Hawes acquiring the Conjuring House has been cleared. Things are not final, but the shithead's attempt to snipe the house has been thwarted. Things are looking... good?

I love dogs, but I have few words to express how frustrated I am by off-leash dogs. UGH. It's dangerous in so many ways! What the fuck! I'm sorry it happened. Glad the phone is all right at least, but sorry about the headphones.

Fingers crossed for the Conjuring House!

Unleashed dogs frustrate me so much. My dog is pretty good, but she's not a big fan of strange dogs running up to her, and I don't want my leashed dog getting in trouble because some random dog comes up and provokes her. "Don't worry, he's friendly!" - Irrelevant to whether the dog should be leashed! Even if I'm just solo, I don't want a random dog running up to me!

And ugh, the dog poop. We've had dog parks closed in Denver because of the accumulation of dog shit. There are constant asks from the state parks to please pick up your pet's waste. And when you do bag it up, take the bag - don't just leave the bagged poop on the trail!

I love my dog, but man, there are a lot of dog people I can't stand.

Same. I like dogs, but that doesn't mean I want random muddy paws or slobber at all times. It's very stressful to worry about unleashed/uncontrolled dogs. We haven't had any encounters that went too badly, but it's always a worry.

Ugh, for real. Every single hike I'm pretty sure we see little blue or green baggies that someone was *totally* going to pack out on the way back. Picking up and carrying around poop sucks, but it's part of the deal! If you don't want to deal with it, don't bring your dog!
