Portlandy October Day 3

This is art attached to an electrical pole outside a closed elementary school.

Took this picture last night. I went out briefly since the air was good, and now it's expected to be not great for the next few days. Not nearly as bad as it got earlier, but ... not great. I may have gotten a few more pics but I haven't pulled my camera data yet. It was good to be back out there ... even if briefly.

Random notes!

* Guess who, after saying they need a new laptop for about 2 years, finally ordered one?

My current laptop has keys that don't work, a wireless card that doesn't work, a d drive that sometimes works, a c drive that for some reason borks out when I try to update windows and also the c drive is too small to handle the up coming Guild Wars 2 expac.

I'm using a clunky external keyboard that makes me sit back farther from the screen than I'd like and ... yeah this is dumb. New lappy is ordered and en route.

The big barrier recently has been getting a laptop to me, the 'last mile' problem in logistics. My building has terrible problems with packages. Amazon won't deliver one I want to a locker, etc. I am doing curbside pick up at a Best Buy when it comes in.


* Abandoned Rail communities are thirsty. I had plans to go a lot of abandoned rail shoots this summer, but... yeah. Didn't happened. I tossed a pretty weak picture that normally wouldn't bother posting anywhere into a FB group and 700 likes later ... Damn, if I had real content it would be blowing up.

October Inkings Days 1-3

I am doing a mix of the Drawsome prompts and also trying to finish some of my own inking projects. I am trying to do a lot so some of these will be more involved than others.
