The NHL dropped it's dress code for this year. I was sad to be getting into hockey after the mandatory suits thing stopped, everyone was sure they'd go back to dressing terribly. Instead we get stuff like this:



Now there's weekly fashion round ups and players getting reps for amazing fits, and McCann (above) for his hat collection.

The most unsettling part of this for me personally is that I was used to seeing Auston Matthews and automatically loathing whatever he had on--I have no particular feelings about him otherwise, I just viscerally hated his style--but then recently he's shown up in not one, not two, but three outfits I liked??? I think he was recently photographed in Alexander McQueen loafers??? I love Alexander McQueen! So I find myself cruising walk-in photos and texting my hockey BFF like, "Oh thank god, he's back to wearing stuff I hate, order is restored!" 🙄

And Auston had the most talked about fashion moment of the season so far, with that Ooh La La sweater.

I mostly only watch the Kraken walk ins. I need to start watching the weekly round ups

Team arrivals are a catwalk now, pretty much the opposite of what everyone expected

Okay I need to watch hockey again. I loved the whacky suits we sometimes got to see, but some of the boys do actually have game. Thank you for this. Is that account doing the fashion recap always?

That's the main account I've seen doing fashion round ups. She does great ones. I don't know if other people do them
