I walked forever. I had a line on where a specific bit of yard art I wanted to shoot was. Obviously, I don't trust the addresses people put out there, but from the style of house and the fence and a few other things, I had a strong feeling that the address was at least close if not exact.

I found what I was after! I walked about 7.5 miles to get the shot. I hope I got the shot. I am too tired to pull data tonight. I got turned around a few times. I had some detours, some intentional and some not. I started walked down an 'unimproved road' because those can be cool, but the road just kept going on with no cross street. It got muddy. It got gross because one of the homeowners was using it like a compost heap. It was clear from the dispersal pattern of carrots and other things which house it was. It's like ... yeah it's a dirt road but it's your road! WTF? Their poor neighbors. By the time I reached the end I had regrets.

Also, some of the areas were a lot worse off than I was expecting. Garbage heaped on the sidewalks and sprawling homeless camps. It was no entrenched, like it has been that way for months. Things are bad right now but I wasn't prepared to see Fo Po looking or smelling like that.

So yeah, between slogging through mud and everything else I am beat. I think I got a few good shots. I'll process the pics tomorrow. But in the meantime, here is a quick cell phone grab of one things I found:

And now I am going to lay here in a tired heap and watch Leverage.
