(no subject)

* I am trying to rewatch Sanctuary. The concept is interesting and there is a lot of good stuff in the series and some great talent worked on it. It's also super uneven and the pilot is a chore. Will has the worst character introduction ever. It's meant to show him as being Super Detailed Orientated, but it comes off as him bothering and stressing out wait staff. It should be taught as a care study for what not to do.

* I saw a tumblr post asking if Goncharov was any more or less real than the version of Supernatural that a lot of shippers seem to be watching. It was meant as a mean joke but it kinda got me thinking that large parts of fandom have been collectively wanting certain types of canons, almost trying to will them into existence. There is probably a long post to be made about it, but I have not the brain cells right now especially since Goncharov has a different plot to the one I've seen people try to will into existence for decades... or at least the plot I keep seeing people agree on is a different plot from that. I cannot fathom all of Goncharov.

* Anyway, you know how that one crypto coin's big plan was to get Elon's attention with a giant statue of him and that would lock in the coins's value? Because if Elon-senpai notices them that's all the need for the coin to have value? Yeah, they are currently outside a Tesla facility in Austin with a giant 'Elon goat on a rocket to the moon' that cost then $600,000 to make, trying to make him accept his gift. If you want to see the creepy things.

So, just in case your day is going to badly, just remember you aren't a drooling Elon fan whose future financial security depends on him accepting a super creepy statue of himself as a goat, but senpai refuses to notice you.

I went back to the end of begining...

The year ain't over yet. Neither is November. Just need to keep plugging to get projects done. I am not in terrible shape on a few. Just need to keep going.

But, that said... It's that time when year end retrospectives begin. The Galve Goat is up and not yet burned. I start stalking a specific instagram to see when and where the Santa Clones will appear.

While my writing goals are very TBD... I will get at least one more story up this year no matter what happens. Even if I somehow have a timeslip and tomorrow is Dec 20th, I'd just go ahead and post Cookie Tins and Shoeboxes without further editing.

I haven't been able to shoot much in the past weeks, but overall this year I've done a lot. I went to go re-find a picture by going through my own photography tag and was just like... this is a lot. Fall always winds up being rough for getting new material for me for one reason or another, but overall my year's been very solid in that respect.

Also, even if my writing falls off, even just counting so far, I've had a decent writing year. I did put out an entire long fic, and some other stuff. Nowhere near where I want, but a lot better. But, I do still have more than a month to go! 2022 isn't over yet even if people are talking like it.
