Jun. 26th, 2024 02:55 pm* The Guild Wars 2 Pride fundraiser for Rainbow Railroad will come in at over $12k once everything is in, with over a thousand coming from my guild! We broke last year's total by a bit, not much, but still it feels good that it is growing. Lelling ran 4 in-game pride parades. I watched bits of two and was in one of them. Lelling really does a ton of work for the whole thing. For some participants who live in unsafe areas or who have disabilities, this virtual pride is the only one they can go to.
* The 'thing in October' has turned out to be a Creation con for multiple Electric Entertainment shows. Well, I want to go to New Orleans anyway and October seems like a good month. I have a lot to figure out, including how long I want to be there. I plan to fly to Chicago and take the City of New Orleans train down, knocking another long haul line off of my list.
I am a little worried that some panels will be packed and ones for The Ark will be *crickets*, but eh, not my con not my problem.
* I also have some other trip planning to do, and I need to get a bunch of stuff nailed down.
