Because of workflow sloppiness and that file management works differently on my tablet OS and my laptop OS some of my photography files have been overwriting each other. Which means I've lost some stuff, but don't know what. I should still have all of the .raw files ... amid my thousands of .raw files.
I really, really need to move to a few way to organize my data but I've been doing photography and managing my files a certain way for 12 years now. I knew my tablet managed files differently. I accidentally overwrote a thousand raws when I first got it. But a slight adjustment fixed that. This is the first time I've been aware of it effecting processed images. It's happening how because I just did a backup and reformatted my SD cards.
I need to put in a lot of hours to organizing my current data and also fixing stuff. And I need to move permanently to a much fussier file system.
