When I am back in Oregon I will post proper updates.
Leaving Kantishna for the entrance to Denali Park was weird. Within 90 minutes of arriving at the entrance the park I had the following things happen:
* Saw idiot tourists corner a moose by the visitors center. The moose charged them and they barely escaped.
* Went to get dinner and was seated at the bar since I am a solo person. There was a big sportsball thing happening and the bar had one small tv. When things got heated with the sportsball, guys ran up and started yelling at the TV ... right in my ear. The place was packed so I had nowhere I go. I escaped for a moment only to have someone try to take my seat.
* Dealt with super aggressive groups of tourists. I had a guy block me in on the bus so his whole group could get off first and together. The tourists on the cruise ship packages have limited time but plentiful drink vouchers. Some of them are super aggressive.
After 5 days of chill people who are super cooperative, suddenly having shouting in my ear and people trying to literally push me around is a bit of a shock.
Anyway, Kantishna was awesome. I will post better things in a few days. In short: I hiked, I ate good foods custom cooked for my allergies, I saw wildlife and I saw the big mountain that only 30% of park visitors ever see.
