I forget what I was planning to do today, but what I did is get through more of Leverage season 4. I've rewatched season 1 a lot, but as much as I love the show I don't think I've rewatched past season 2 or 3.

I am bad at rewatches sometimes. I do this thing where I keep winding up just rewatching the first season until I get sick of it. But I am past all that and to the episodes I've only ever seen maybe once or twice. It sounds like the new season will be later this year, so I can finish my rewatch in preparation and than have plenty of time to get some fic done.

After Leverage, I need to get back to my Sentinel and Hannibal rewatches. Not, yanno, restart them and fall into my usual pattern. Then I need to reread Sandman before the Netflix thing happens.

The Sentinel should be my next bingey thing. I only had the first season for ages, but got the full series at some point last year. On the other hand, I never did finish watching Leverage....

I think Sentinel in one of those shows they gets a lot better in the second season. It's still of uneven quality at times, but it's good to get into S2.

But right now I am focusing on Leverage because I am excited for the new season.

I've never seen all of either The Sentinel or Leverage, so I'm actually on my first watch of both.

I'm SO bad about doing that with rewatches. (Rereads, too.) I have like a mental block where I feel like I HAVE to start at the beginning if it's been too long, so I wind up watching S1/reading book 1/watching the first few episodes a ton... and then never getting past that. Because if I take a break for some value of "too long", oops, gotta start at the beginning again!

I'm trying to be better about noticing those kinds of invisible rules, and recognize that they are totally fake and I am free to ignore them if they don't make me happy, lol.

Yup, same mental block. If I have a break in the rewatch I have to restart, and for most genre shows the first season is not the good stuff! I need to be more organized about my rewatches and less worried that I've lost track of plot or character development.

Yes! Even with shows where season one is pretty solid, watching it repeatedly can still start to wear thin, and make it harder to launch into the series again when you "have" to get through the first part again.
