I think what's going on with the Vax Finder websites is that they are correctly reporting some locations have supply of vaccine, but those sites don't necessarily have appointments. Like, they have the medicine but not the capacity to stick it in arms. This is based off of comparing Walmart's site to the finder websites. I've been refreshing a few sites all day.
Reddit advice is to not bother making appointments and just show up at end of day and they are sticking people with supply after hours. But, I am not quite at the point where I just show up and crowd a pharmacy at closing.
I tried for the 4 AM thing again last night, but fell asleep at 3 AM.
