I haven't posted about this in a while because it's been going very slowly, but it has been going! I've been disorganized, haven't had access to certain go-to foods, have been enjoying the re-opening by having mead, cider and treats so ... slow. But I am now down 45 pounds.

My last day in Maine I had to carry all my stuff on my back. That is always the rub with travel, that gap between check out and actually leaving. Some places have luggage checks, but I find that's rare these days. I had my laptop and a lot of water on me. I weighted my bag when I got home. It was 28 pounds without water, so more like 30 with. (Laptop is heavy) So, that large weight was I was lugging while hiking is only about 2/3rds the amount of weight I've lost. Back in December, I was walking around with more weight on my knees and back than I was carrying the pack yesterday.

That is a lot. I need to really make that sink into my brain. I have a bunch to go, but I am solidly down a lot.

Also, when I am out walking I have trouble thinking that I need to lose more weight. My body is already 'but this is so little weight on the feet?' Also, my brain keeps thinking that ... my mind's map of my body when I am walking/hiking is really weird. I am not sure how to describe it.
