But, meh, no shots I am happy about.
I was excited because I was sure I'd found some blocks I hadn't walked already! But, I was wrong. It has just been a while. Re-walking the same spaces, especially different times of year, can be great. I do it intentionally sometimes. There is a section of Woodstock I revisit every few months at this point. I re-walk Clinton a lot. But I was excited, only to get there and be all 'oh... oops'
I really need to plan some trips further afield. Hit some new 'hoods. Maybe further south. There are some pockets of blocks I think I haven't hit, but I've hit a lot. I've covered an impressive portion of the eastside of Portland at this point.

Date: 2021-11-25 06:14 pm (UTC)From:It seems like you've hit an impressive amount of the map! While not quiet the same, I remember doing similar things with parks in the area. Thinking "Oh, I've never been to this one!" only to realize once I got there that... oh yeah, I came here a few years ago. Still not the worst, and each walk or hike is different, but revisiting isn't the same as finding somewhere totally new.
