So I finished it and... Alex's arc makes zero sense to me.

Did the show forget about killing the Director and his two kids? It felt like that happened and then the show decided it wasn't that bad or something. I can see why Alex wanted to stay at the Airport at a point. She's heard so much about a lot of things of the past. Staying for a cycle to learn more and maybe read other books and have shower makes sense. I can see her leaving for lots of places because she needs life outside the wheel for a bit to help her pick her life path. Going off with the Prophet? IDGI

That's a lot of stolen kids the undersea has. I get they were trying for a sympathetic villain, but letting the guy wander off with his band of hundreds of kidnapped kids is a bit much.

Also, one kid came with mines and it sounded like all the kids were coming? And Kirsten did nothing?

I really like Kirsten and Jeeven meeting again and parting to meet again. He has his own life and she has hers. Her visiting his family immediately would have been cool, but this takes place in a realistic world where the troupe need looking after and even a brief visit would meaning having to spend days if not weeks watching up with the troupe in a dangerous world. But, she got her goodbye and now has an ongoing connection with him.

Towards the end it felt like a lot of things happened for Plot Reasons, maybe stuff cut from the book would explain?

Also, how did Miranda get that phone number for the pilot? Some paid people finder website? That is a streeeeetch.

I loved the show, but the finale had me like 'I have several questions'.

Alex leaving with the kids makes the story seem sympathetic to the idea that maybe pre and post pans should separate.. except they were gathered by Tyler of all people... so... *headscratch*

Like Tyler is personally responsible for most of the trauma she does have!

I hate [show, movie or book]'s Ending Explained type articles. I click 'do not show again' to the tons of YT reccs for that. I actually googled a Station 11 Ending Explained article to see if I missed something and got

You may have picked up by now that this isn’t so much an “Ending Explained” as it is an opportunity to heap praise on a brilliant show while using an SEO-friendly headline to entrap unwitting readers (ha ha ha gotcha!). In truth, not much needs to be explained about Station Eleven’s ending because it’s basically perfect as is.

*faceplam* Well, that will teach me to ever click on one.
