* I like a bunch of queer pages on FB during Pride, and now my feel is flooded with Jordan Peterson and Ben Shapiro ads. I am keeping Munecat's Debunking The Entire Manosphere open in a tab to reply to each ad. OMG they are creepy. Jordan Peterson wants to help me get a personality and learn how to act when intimate with partners?

Considering that 99% of advertising is targeted and not aura that means they are going after people with my likes and demographics.

* I am overly annoyed by advertising sometimes, yes. I don't think sites should be able to show me any content it wants. That may be very old fasioned thinking but I don't really care. FB has already threatened to restrict my account from me replying to Chick-fil-a ads in a way that 'pushes an agenda'. Hey, if you are going to show me chick-fil-a ads, I am going to reply. This is how the world works.

* The grocery store was trolling me by playing... weirdly censored versions of Cure songs sung with like a folk song vibe?

* And I am about to try a short photo walk with my altered loadout. Whether it works or no, I need to do some photo editing soon.

Ugh. I keep getting local conservative candidate political ads on FB. Sometimes some weird alt-right culty stuff, but luckily no Ben Shapiro or Jordan Peterson. *shudder*

But yeah, definitely intentionally targeted, and that makes it that much grosser.

Wtf at FB being mad about you responding to ads? As if advertising isn't itself pushing an agenda!

Yeah, it's dumb. And I know my push back does nothing, it's just for me. It's good to not tolerate that BS and treat it as unacceptable.
