The AQ is down from 300 at least but... the long-awaited rain coming tomorrow and lasting over the weekend is not expected to help. The alert has been extended. The Clack has air relief centers. Multnomah doesn't, so it's keeping libraries open late as a sort of poor band-aid on the situation.

While I am better off than most and don't need to go out in this much, today I am not dealing well with having woken up with irritated eyes and wooginess. Living on the top floor I have a good view of the smoke and it gets to me. So, I am not going to try to write or do anything today. I am just going to take another shower and watch some stuff.

I don't know why the rain isn't expected to help... it's rain.

However, in good news I have pumpkin beer and have virtual Confab this weekend.

Bad air quality is the worst. I hope you get through mostly unscathed, but it's miserable how much of an impact it has even if you don't have to go out.
