* It's possible that Strange Aeons has been shadowbanned for asking how people make money on Tumblr live and they mass reported her. Uh, from the thumbnails I disable every week I am pretty sure I know how they make money, but still would have been an interesting video.
Tumblr seems to think I want to see how booba looks when girls arch their backs from really deep inhales of the weed.
AFAIK Strange is the only person who covers tumblr history accurately rather than using tumblr as a source of cringe. GG Tumblr, you shadowbanned the only tumblr essayist with a following who isn't trying to shame and bully users.
* Tumblr live is a trainwreck and it also an insult to everyone who has ever had trouble posting adult content there.
* Rick Astley posted a new song Never Gonna Stop which is obviously a reference to hos greatest hit, sort of a follow up. But the song also stands on it's own, it meta on his career and the state of the world. And how the video was made is a bit meta. "My wife Lene and I shot this video on a phone in Denmark, in a forest beside a beautiful beach. The song in essence is about how there is so much technology out there pulling and pushing us in our daily lives, that we need to remain human in this fast moving world."
Honestly, 10/10. Making a follow up to Never Gonna Give You Up is a tall order, but I think he nailed it.
* How... how are people already done with more than one playthrough of Baldur's Gate 3? Game is so long... I literally just ignored some core quests to get to an ending on my main playthrough just so I didn't have to keep dodging spoilers as much.

I'm getting fed up with this site all over again, which is a shame because it's the only place my fandom lives. There's one extremely inactive Discord server, which is sadly predictable for fandom these days.

Which is the same story as everywhere, every time such things happen. It's zero surprise, it just gets more and more obvious, especially when they're pushing cam stuff when it can be monetized. (If it had been a true reversal of the adult content ban that would maybe feel different, but it wasn't that either.)
I can pretty easily scroll past the stuff I don't want to see, but I *resent* that it's an obvious double standard.

(In ye olden days, pre porn ban, I feel like I knew where and how to find the adult content, even if that wasn't what I wanted. It felt like a part of the same site I was on, whether I was there for that or not. The current cam stuff on Live just... feels like it's part of some whole different ecosystem.)
