* Not a surprise, but Quantum Leap has been cancelled. It sucks, but I think rushing production on the show left it a mess.

* Twitch just had it's record for biggest hype train smashed, which is basically most people subscribing to a channel within a short time frame. When Twitch confirmed the new record, cue a lot of people convinced that it was a girl who got given stuff because boobs. So man people love their delusions of oppression for not being a girl, like being a girl is playing life on easy mode and is an advantage on platforms like Twitch. Meanwhile here is a youtube short of the streamer when the hype train ended. For context, a good chunk of Thor's stream is indie game design.

It was hilarious to be me how many people jumped to the conclusion that it the streamer was a young, hot girl without, you know, actually checking anything.

Oh, damn it. :/ I actually really liked the most recent QL but (without spoilers), I have to wonder if they thought it might be cancelled considering the way the finale went.

Yeah, I liked the show. I'd hoped it would pull through so we could have a more developed season and see where they were going with a few things.

SO many people are willing to just let fly with their assumptions, and try to use those assumptions as further evidence to loop back and support said assumptions... without ever even checking.
