Fun sidewalk to navigate:

I didn't know this place still existed, and for a while I thought it was a joke and not real. But yes, Portland's vegan strip club:

The concept of a vegan strip club is not as funny today as it was a one or two decades ago. This used to be considered peak Portland Wacky and I think they delisted their address for a while to keep out certain types of tourists, but also I couldn't confirm it's existence. At a time I honestly did know if it was real or a joke. However, now that I've seen it, after all my many, many wanderings it's hilarious to me for another reason. The basic construction of the building is the most utilitarian that you find in this climate, the walls... the supports... this is the most 'at least it functions' possible. But, it's not only painted so nice, but they took advantage of the super basic form factor for those upside down crosses.
Maybe it's only me who finds the building and how the building was made to look so nice hilarious, but I do. I love it.
Not a great pic but, a Portlandy round-a-bout:

We have a lot of overgrown or nicely planted one. The Ladd's Subtraction ones are formal rose gardens. I may start a folder/collection of Portlandy round-a-bouts... maybe
