The Dragon Prince

Brief post on The Dragon Prince before bed. It's good! I did inking and reworked sketches today instead of writing so I could watch the new episodes. I very rarely like western animation or anything all ages, but I am really glad I got into this show.

That's it. No spoilers, thinky thoughts or deep observations on how they handle character conflicts better than a lot of other media. Just flailing. And also the work that went into the design, costume and expressions of a certain new character, wow.

How far off is S3?

I've been hesitant to get back into comm running because it can be a slog. Small fandoms and niche interests need looking after so momentum isn't lost. Large fandoms can be overwhelming. I decided to start a Wodehouse comm anyway and after 1 month it has "215 comments received, 30 Journal Entries." Yeah, no momentum problems there! It's been really nice. I am sort of tempted to do a bit more comm running here, but am not sure what of my specific interests would make for a sustainable community.

And, yeah, I am supposed to be spending time on content, not structure. But, writing is hard and art takes forever :)

I am going to see if I can think of any others I want to run, tho.
