Portland's year so far
Sep. 11th, 2020 12:54 pm* Tear gas used in the middle of our city likely at least 80 of the last 100 days.
* Trump focusing on us particularly and sending in federal officers, some of whom were federal prison guards.
* Protesters being snatched up by unmarked black vans.
* That Covid thing also effecting other areas
* Historic fires with 10% of the states population currently under some level of evac order. Some news sources are reporting that 500k people have left their homes.
* We may have lost 10% of our forests, including beloved nature areas in the Cacades.
* Medford is staking stock of how much of the city remains.
* It'll be a few days before we have a count of how many towns lost.
* ... oh and the whole alt-right coming in and running lights, running down protesters, spraying them with bear spray from cars. There has been another 'Maga Train' announced for ... I think the 26th.
* Targeted disinformation campaigns about the city
