Dark Humor
Oct. 9th, 2020 02:25 amThere are two recent YT videos that I enjoyed. Both are current events related, so they are tricky reccs. I could see how someone else might not find these funny, and I might not have been amused in a different mood. So ... reccs with caveats.
First of all, Amanda the Jedi's video on Corona inspired romance. Basically a review of books that took the phrase 'fuck this virus' literally. I lost it watching this video. It's easily the funniest things I've seen this year.
Second, there has been a 3rd Installment of Explaining the Pandemic to my past self. The whole series works well as a weird time capsule of this year. Anyway, now we have October!Julie chatting with July!Julie. The first installment was funny, the second was serious and this installment is ... dark humor.
