Malfunctioning fire detectors are the worst when you have sound sensitivity issues

Ow.

I tried to replace an 'expired' smoke detector but the replacement wont fit right and it did high pitched squeals while I was holding it. Ow.

I guess going to Home Depot and going 'how replace thing' is in my future. The one I bought was supposed to be a compatible replacement, but it's not.

My right shoulder is snarled from stress so I've just taken and bunch of CBD and am going to stretch and then lay down and hope it stops.

After I move, I might look into some sort of alternate smoke detector. My brain's response to high pitched sounds is... not what the detector is trying to get me to do.

In other news, twitter has decided to flood my timeline with 'recommended tweets based on your likes' and all the tweets are like reaction tweets and subtweets. I have no idea what they are all upset about, it's just people being super upset with no context.

Maybe I should be super upset about things with no context to try to grind engagement? Lying and being super upsetti spaghetti about things seems to be the magic formula to actually get engagement.

I've blocked twitter for a bit. Seems to be when a social media is being really annoying, the only way to get it to stop is to actually stop using it for a bit. On FB clicking 'hide content' about the reels of people giving birth did nothing, but after I site blocked for a while FB started behaving itself a bit better. But, well, FB was probably seeing me clicking 'hide' as engagement and was just showing me more to get moar engagement.
