Jul. 11th, 2022 04:47 pm* Our local comic con is going to require masking and some businesses are going back to it. In related news, I should figure out if I am going to Rose City this year. It's well run and their vendor picks/connections are top notch. ... actually just convinced myself. I want to support some local artists so I'll go. I am unlikely to do any panels. They don't have big enough panel rooms for the big guests and the discussion panels tend to be run by idiots. Having Anthony Rapp and Wilson Cruz makes me happy, but I am very unlikely to try to get to the panel.
* Jonathan Baily has been cast as the secret lover of Matt Bomer's character in a McCarthy era period piece called Fellow Travelers, based on a book of the same name. Very interested, might read the book ahead of time.
* I posted the first half of my Stranger Things Sentinel AU which is going to be read by maybe 3 people because I tagged it & instead of /, because it's way too pre-slash. Also I am not going to cross tag it to TS because it's not actually TS. Ah well, the second half is written and I can toss it up in a day or two in case I catch more eyes that way. It's fine, it's mostly a writing exercise gotten out of hand. It's not as developed as my main series, which I can now get back to!
