(no subject)

I was on a bike today for the first time in, um, let's call it at least a decade. It was an e-bike, which I've never been in before, they and act a lot differently when you first push down on the petal. The Biketown racks near me are all in areas where I don't want to try the traffic and I refuse to ride on the sidewalk. I hate people who do that and act like having a little bell gives them rights. But I was out in Freemont and missed me bus and a Biketown bike was just there blocking the sidewalk and I was like, huh, I can try this.

Biggest challenge, the app is a mess. I don't know if I'll ever want to ride in parts of town, but I'd like it to give my photo excursions more flexibility. Also for reshoots in some areas, since I am only just me, having a way to scoot away if things get weird is good.

I didn't have my real camera with me, so just some cell phone grabs for now... but... *drumroll* first sidewalk pumpkins of the year! Spooky season is coming. Chilly nights and overpriced coffee drinks will return.
